Our department has many subdivisions within to allow our members to expand their knowledge and allow us to properly handle any situation at hand!

The mission of the canine unit is to enhance law enforcement crime fighting and prevention efforts in detection, criminal apprehension, officer safety, and service to the community. A specialized group of State Troopers in conjunction with their service canines will assist in the identification of illegal narcotics and firearms, the recovery of missing persons, and the capture of fugitive suspects.

The mission of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division is to reduce commercial vehicle involved crashes within the state by conducting roadside inspections and traffic enforcement on large commercial vehicles. The overall goal, of the SASP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, is to ensure the safety of commercial loads, trucks and equipment. In order to reduce preventive crashes, load loss and mishaps.

The Bureau of Investigation’s objective is to serve the State of San Andreas and its citizens. This is done by assisting victims of crime by conducting thorough investigations of crimes no matter the nature, properly documenting these investigations, and ultimately presenting the findings of the investigations to the judicial system of San Andreas to secure charges and convictions of criminals. 

Units that use motorcycles are often called motorcycle units or motor units, and police officers assigned to these units are known as motorcycle officers or motor officers. The maneuverability of the motorcycle on crowded streets offer advantages not provided by larger, more traditional police vehicles. 

The CRASH unit is responsible for handling crashed vehicles. They are a specialized unit of the San Andreas Highway Patrol that is responsible for investigating traffic accidents, enforcing traffic laws, and promotion public safety on the roads. For assistance with a crashed vehicle, you should contact the San Andreas Highway Patrol or 911.

The Port Authority is responsible for managing and maintaining transportation infrastructure, including airports, seaports, and other transportation facilities.
